ISM Bursary Scheme


International School Moshi runs a bursary scheme for able students who wish to join ISM as new students. There are a limited number of bursaries (including boarding places on the Moshi Campus) available for new students who have obtained high standards in their present school.

2009: Special bursary places available NOW in M1-M5 classes (Standard 7 to Form 4) for immediate admission.

Eligibility for a bursary place

To be considered for a bursary each student must:
  • be able to succeed in an English medium school;
  • be prepared to sit an entrance test and attend an interview in Arusha or Moshi.

Availability of places

Currently there are bursary places still available for M1-5 (secondary ages 11-16) students who wish to join the school this school year. There are also bursary places available for our International Baccalaureate Diploma class D1 (Form 5) and for other secondary classes for admission at the start of the school year in August 2010.

Amount of Bursary

Successful students can expect a 25% reduction in tuition fees and can also apply for further financial assistance to reduce fees significantly further.

Application procedure

If you are interested in the possibility of being considered for a bursary place please fill in the general Application for Admission form. Along with this form you should also submit:
  • a letter of application for a bursary place;
  • a letter of recommendation from the student’s present school.
